The Light House is holding a sponsored walk around Draycote Water on Saturday October 11th at 10am.  The purpose of the walk is to raise funds to sponsor the many clients we see, who are unable to make a contribution towards the counselling they receive and who would not be able to receive counselling elsewhere, due to prohibitive costs.

Draycote Water is an idyllic location to walk around and is home for many different species of wildlife.  The walk around the lake is 5 miles and is quite flat, so is not too strenuous.  For those who want to stay and share together for a short time after the completion of the walk, there is a cafeteria which serves drinks and snacks. 

Dogs are not permitted to walk around Draycote Water, but are allowed in the Country Park, which overlooks it and is an ideal place for dogs to have a run.
