Franchising of course material

If you are an organisation outside the Coventry area wishing to provide your own counselling courses using our material, this can be made available on a Franchising basis. In order to enter into a franchise agreement with a Christian Counsellor or organisation, the Light House has to satisfy itself that a suitable trainer with significant counselling experience is available to deliver the course(s) and that the ACC requirements will be met.

The Light House will provide franchisees with schemes of work, trainer guidelines, student handouts and instructions for groupwork, skills exercises and homework assignments. It will also carry out Internal Verification visits and liaise with ACC and CPCAB to ensure that their standards are met and assessment criteria are fulfilled so that students can achieve a recgnised qualification and Learning Skills Council funding can be accessed.

Fees payable are normally in the region of 25% of the course fees received from students, subject to an agreed minimum. An agreed proportion of the Learning and Skills Council funding will be returned to the franchisee.
